The platforms (OnlyFans, etc.) are restricting you and the only service they provide is giving you a platform. They charge large percentages for this simple service. You do all the promotion yourself so why would you accept paying 20% to them for a simple service that comes with a lot of restrictions.

1) Get your own domain – in Denmark
Sure, it’s a hassle having to create your own website, and it can seem a daunting task. It is, however, quick and easy to create your own website if all you want to do is post videos, pictures and text. The most important part of this is where you get your server-host. Economists talk a lot of about “getting to Denmark” as a goal – and adult entertainers might want pick up on that train of thought.

A danish server (.dk-domain) means everything is subject to danish laws and restrictions. These laws are simple.
– A) All participants must be 18 years or older at the time of recording.
– B) All participants must be aware of your intent to publish the material.
– C) All participants must be voluntarily involved in the production.
– D) No animals may be involved in sexual acts.

Note, that you will want to keep records and IDs according to your local laws in order to satisfy your local authorities upon request, but Denmark does not require these records or IDs. You do not need to upload them anywhere, as you do on other platforms, and you do not need to show them to the danish authorities, as they don’t have the right to request them.

So what’s the alternative platforms for promotion? First, there is X (Twitter), but it could and should be done better – and specifically for adult entertainment. Believe it or not, but this very domain used to be a social media platform, much like Facebook, that was free and for adult entertainers. We shut it down because noone was using it and adult entertainers are hard to reach with new ideas (we get it; you’re contacted by strangers all the time and they all have “ThE nExT bIg ThInG”, which is annoying – we don’t blame you for not answering our emails).

We could revive the platform if 10 adult entertainers asked us to… That would make it worth the effort for us, and we would revive it more or less instantly.

Imagine having a social media platform, free, made by Free Speech Fundamentalists, where all Users are looking for adult entertainment, and adult entertainers aren’t restricted by other people’s morals…
